A collaborative approach, like this, can certainly make real and tangible improvements to the lives of women and girls.
This launch establishes the collaborative approach between Employer Organisations and Labour Unions across the region. Both groups will partner to develop joint regional policies and advocacy strategies for the eradication of Gender-Based Violence at the workplace level. This project will focus on primary prevention - preventing violence before it occurs and on secondary prevention by protecting and/or reducing the risk of exposure to violence by most at-risk women and girls through the formulation, finalisation and implementation of these policies.
